Step 1:
Obtain this tax year’s Tax Organizer Booklet. Click here to go to the Tax Organizer Page. Select the year and version of the booklet that best matches your tax situation.
NOTE:
There is a one-time fee of $5.00 for the username and password for access to the booklet if downloaded from our website or by mail for $10.00. So, if you are a returning client and have previously purchased the booklet username and password, there is no charge for your access.
All username and password letters will be mailed by early January 2015. Letters with username and passwords will be mailed to the address on your 2013 tax return. If you have not received your username/password by January 22, 2015, or if you have moved since we prepared your 2013 tax return, and have not given us your new address, please contact our office immediately.
Step 2:
Enter your username and password to download the Tax Organizer Booklet. The booklet will open as a PDF document. Please print this document.
Step 3:
Carefully go through the document and complete all pages that apply to you. You may not have information for every page, but there will be a page for all your information.
Step 4:
Mail the booklet, any supporting documents requested in the booklet and a complete copy of your previous year’s tax return(s) as filed to us.
Step 5:
RELAX! We will prepare your return and then contact you to inform you of the results. Payment is due upon completion.


A Few Notes:
  • Cost – The costs for us to prepare your entire return are based on the number of forms needed and the complexity and time required. Therefore, costs are different for each individual. The average cost of preparing a personal return, including 1 home based business ranges from $185 - $245. Your costs may be higher or lower depending on your situation and which state you live in. See our pricing page for more information.
  • Turnaround Time – The usual turnaround time to complete your return is 10-14 days after we receive it, if we have all the information we need. In order to assure that your return is completed by the tax deadline, your information MUST be in our office by March 23, 2015. This is a hard date.
  • Clients Wishing to Come to Our Office – Be sure to bring all the information as shown above. Please call early for appointments, as office appointments fill up quickly.
  • Please let us know when you call for an appointment if you will have any special or unusual circumstances for your return. We want to schedule properly to allow us the correct amount of time to complete the return in order to neither rush you nor delay the next appointment. If the return is complex, we will need to schedule more time (for example, multiple businesses). Giving us this information when you call for the appointment will help us make the most efficient use of your time.

    Cancellation or change of appointments

    If you need to change or cancel your appointment, you must give us at least 24 hours notice before your scheduled appointment time. If less that 24 hours notice is given, a $25.00 fee will be applied to the cost of your tax return.
